Earlier in my career, I built and exited a seven-figure digital agency. I worked with global companies on AI-powered products, helped teams design systems that generated millions in revenue, and spent over a decade operating inside fast-moving, high-pressure environments. Across that time, I’ve been directly involved in over £10M in digital revenue through services, products, and automation, and have designed and deployed 100+ AI systems — from early-stage startups to enterprise teams.

On paper, it looked like success.

But the truth is, we didn’t need most of what we’d built.

We’d copied an agency model that rewarded growth on the surface—more people, more clients, more complexity—while quietly increasing the founder's dependency. Revenue grew, but leverage didn’t. Value was created repeatedly, but it left the business the moment delivery ended.

What changed everything for me was recognising leverage — not as a buzzword, but as a design problem.

Working at the forefront of AI gave me a new lens:

Expertise doesn’t need to be locked inside delivery.

It can be structured.

It can be reused (most of the time it is, just badly).

It can support multiple outcomes simultaneously for customers at different levels of need.

Independent founders don’t need massive teams or bloated agencies to win.

Not as a course.
